Saturday 30th September
Concert by The Prince Regent's Band, playing period instruments. Celebratory music from the latter half of the 19th century, by composers such as Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Meyerbeer, Robert and Clara Schumann, Bishop and Offenbach.
Saturday 25th November
The Irlandiani Players, a collective of historical and traditional instrumentalists who explore 18th century Italian and Irish musical connections, will be celebrating the September release of their second album, Smock Alley, which is inspired by the vibrant musical life of 18th century Dublin's Smock Alley Theatre and its neighbourhood.
These OnYourDoorstep concerts are usually about 75 minutes with no interval. You are invited to meet the performers afterwards, over light refeshments.
Donations requested; suggested: £10-25 per adult. Under 18s free.
