Weekly Sunday Meditation
Welcome to meditation in Golders Green on (most) Sundays. Come in time before a 10.20 start for a simple half-hour meditation - gentle and spiritual. Led by Kassandra Britton and Wade Miller-Knight. We finish at 10.50 so those who so wish can go up to the church afterwards for the 11a.m. service. No previous experience necessary.
It's downstairs in the Fellowship Room, so come in by the side door, through the kitchen, and down a few steps.
Wednesday Lunchtime Meditations
The Wednesday Golders Green meditation group often uses techniques taught by Thich Nhat Hanh, the Buddhist meditation leader, such as breathing and walking meditations. Chants may be from Christian or Indian sources.
No previous experience is necessary. The meditation hour is beneficial for newcomers to meditation and experienced meditators alike.
The regular meditation time is the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of months. Come at 1.20pm to be ready for a 1.30pm start. 2.30 finish.
Meditation Workshops
Golders Green Unitarians host a morning meditation workshop from time to time.
For each one, come at 10.15 a.m. for a 10.30 start; finish by 1 p.m with a bowl of soup and bread and cheese light lunch.
A suggested minimum donation of £10 per person.
