We'll hear two beautiful, rare and original English viols, made by John Pitts (1675) and Edward Lewis (1703), with their continuo team of Baroque guitar and theorbo - early English chamber music at its finest. The programme will include repertoire which the original owners of these two spectacular instruments might have played themselves, alongside some homespun arrangements of popular tunes of the time.
