Circle Dancing

From 6.30 to 8.30 p.m.; usually on the 3rd Friday of the month.

Please let Rose Williams know (0208 458 2317) by the Friday morning if you are planning to join us.

Circle dancing is probably the oldest known dance formation and was part of community life from when people first started to dance. Dancing in a circle is an ancient tradition common to many cultures for marking special occasions, rituals, strengthening community and encouraging togetherness.

Poetry and prose sharing

3rd Saturdays, 4 p.m. till 5.30pm on Zoom

Share your own poems or your favourites, or just listen to others. Or bring a reading or two to share - light or serious as you wish.

If you enjoy hearing others read, and reading some of your favourite poetry or prose passages, by others or yourself, please do join us for a time of sharing and listening.  It’s enriching to hear why another person has chosen a piece, and to discover new gems. There’s no theme and this adds to the variety to be enjoyed.
